What IS FREEZE-DRYING?

Instead of using heat dehydration like most other brands, we use freeze-drying technology. This essentially presses 'pause' on perishability, and preserves the plant at it's peak. Freeze-drying is a dehydration process that removes just the water from fresh ingredients. We do this by freezing the product so all the goodness is locked in, and then lowering the pressure slowly, thereby removing the ice by sublimation and preserving the nutrients, flavour, and texture. This method extends shelf life while maintaining the original quality of the food, we like to think of it as a way to bridge the gap between convenience and quality.

 

 

How are freeze-dried ingredients different from fresh or Other DRIED ingredients?

Freeze-dried ingredients sit firmly in between fresh and dehydrated ingredients. They're rich in flavour, fragrance and nutrition - just like fresh, but they're also able to be conveniently stored in your cupboard for up to 2 years (even after opening!) just like traditionally dried herbs. However unlike traditionally dried ingredients, when you add JUX to water it will rehydrate back to a fresh texture. JUX means you get to enjoy all the benefits of fresh food, just without the short use-by date.

ARE FREEZE-DRIED INGREDIENTS HEALTHY?

YES! Because we dehydrate our ingredients through the low and slow method of freeze-drying we're not tarnishing the plant's natural goodness. JUX retains 99% of the same nutritional value of eating fresh food, and is a great source of vitamins, fibre and so much more! We use no additives or preservatives in ANY products. How do i use FREEZE-DRIED INGREDIENTS?

Our super ingredients are super versatile, you can use them in 1000s of ways just like you would with fresh herbs and vegetables! You can either enjoy JUX straight out of the pot or rehydrate by adding to any liquid of your choosing. HOW DO I STORE FREEZE-DRIED INGREDIENTS?

Our entire range is conveniently cupboard friendly, which means you can keep JUX in the cupboard even after opening for up to 2 years! Just ensure the pot is completely closed after each use so its seal is airtight, please also ensure that it's not left near any liquid that could potentially rehydrate. JUX can be stored in ANY container as long as it is airtight.

is jux vegeterian/vegan friendly?

Yes! Our products are 100% natural, with no added nasties! They're suitable for any diet type including halal and kosher diets. It's simple, pure plant power in a pot and NOTHING else! All our products are 100% natural, just the way mother nature intended.

 

IS JUX ALLERGEN FREE ?

JUX contains no allergens other than the plant promised on pack, we choose to preserve through freeze-drying which means that we don't need to use any unnatural preservatives whatsoever. If the JUX pot says Basil, it's 100% Basil and nothing else! If you'd like further assurance please don't hesitate to reach out to use at hello@juxfood.com and someone will be able to assist.

IS JUX ORGANIC?

JUX prioritises the highest quality and freshness in all our products. While our ingredients aren't certified organic, we work closely with trusted suppliers who adhere to strict agricultural practices, ensuring that our products are safe, nutritious, and delicious.

IS JUX A SOURCE OF FIBRE?

Our products contain 99% of the same nutrition as fresh, that includes its fibre content - so yes!

Discount codes are not applicable on bundles as they are already discounted. Discounts cannot be combined.

How can i return my order?

We accept returns! As long as the JUX pot you're returning is unopened and unused you'll be able to claim a full refund. If you would like to return your order for any reason, please repackage with your order number and send your return to:

What are the shipping costs for INTERNATIONAL ORDERS?

EU: £12 shipping fee, FREE on orders over £70 (which include pre-payment if import duties/taxes, no additional charges).
 
USA: £17 shipping fee (which include pre-payment if import duties/taxes, no additional charges).
 
CA: £17 shipping fee (additional charges may apply for orders over 20CAD, please check on https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/ for more info).

You have full control to manage, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time through a link that will be emailed to you after purchasing a subscription. Plus, JUX subscribers benefit from exclusive discounts, new product launches and perks!

How CAN I EDIT MY ORDER?

You can do so through the link that was emailed to you after purchasing your subscription or by emailing us directly at hello@juxfood.com.

CAN I SUBSCRIBE TO A BUNDLE?

Our website is undergoing maintenance, so currently you cannot purchase a subscription on a bundle. You can however add the individual items you wanted from the bundle to your subscription manually and enjoy the same discount!
